MELODY CROSSWAY

Melody Crossway offers over 20 years of experience working with CARF agencies to PowderHorn Consulting clients. Her roles in executive leadership in both Behavioral Health, and Employment and Community-based service agencies have served veterans and individuals with developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and low-income to no-income populations under social service programs. Melody also worked closely with agencies providing specialized focus on individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder under the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis.

In her role as a surveyor, Melody has supported both the administrative as well as the programmatic role for behavioral health and employment and community-based service agencies. She worked as a consultant for agencies intranationally in the areas of state licensing and human rights regulatory relations to support compliance, obtain and maintain licensure and remediate corrective actions issued to agency services.

Melody currently is the Director of an employment and community-based service program that provides meaningful employment to over 200 individuals a year. She participates on an advisory board for the state of Virginia to advise the commissioner on policy, funding, and the allocation of funds to employment service organizations. In addition, she sits on a local board for Cultural Diversity within the public school setting.
